POSITION TITLE: Store Lead REPORTS TO: Store Manager
POSITION PURPOSE: Store Lead creates an excellent experience for guests and team members, ensuring fast
and friendly service, quality products, and a clean, safe store environment.
GENERAL:
● Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
● Model excellent customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and
connecting with the customer
● Create a positive and energetic atmosphere for every guest and employee
● Being resilient under pressure
● Follow Dunn Brothers Coffee policies and standards
● Demonstrate Leadership, Communicate clearly and accurately in order to ensure store operations
PEOPLE:
● Support Store Manager in day-to-day operations
● Scheduled Manager on duty. Coach, develop and mentor team
● Help with new hire training, communicate to team about changes in policies, promotions, and general updates
that come up
● Place the right person in the right location, manage shift labor, shift start and end times, communicate with
manager if any issues occur
ADMINISTRATIVE:
● Assist with monthly inventory, ordering, shift coverage, and provide performance feedback
● Help communicate promotional items, events and upcoming donations
PRODUCT/SERVICE:
● Motivates team to deliver excellent customer service every time. Smile, make a connection, speed of service,
anticipate needs.
● Solves store problems relating to customers, employees and anything that comes up during your shift.
● Ensure every product is up to Dunn Brothers standards
● Follow ups that products are rotated, correct labeling and expirations, and pars are being met and/or adjusted
as necessary
ENVIRONMENT:
● Total Store Vision- Maintains a clean environment inside and out.
● Ensures all checklists are completed
● Conducts shift change communication. What was done and what needs to be done, promotional items,
updates and general items that come up
● Equipment is being maintained and in good working order
DRIVING FOR RESULTS:
● Creates teamwork to drive for results in ongoing promotions, daily sales goals, and new programs
● Communicate with team about daily goals
● Ensure the team is upselling items (beans, food, large sizes, promotional items)
● Ensure the team is communicating Loyalty Program App
