Description
We are looking for hard-working, self-motivated, friendly individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment. We are more than just your standard coffee shop as we roast our beans in-house, freshly bake our pastries and bread, make sandwiches and salads fresh to order, and also serve beer, wine and small plates. This position includes preparing beverages and food orders as well as other duties associated with working in a food environment.
Duties and Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining accuracy of food and drink preparation
- Able to make quality drinks using commercial grade equipment
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensures the coffee shop is clean, well-stocked and inviting to guests
- Exceptional guest service and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and coworkers
- Manages cash register and change accurately and proficiently
- Make food products to order ensuring attention is paid to special preparation requirements
- Slice meats, cheese, fruit and vegetables for use in recipes
- Bake pastries and food prep items in ovens
- Position will require working weekday and weekend shifts
